JON AND STACY
Founders/Owners
Jon and Stacy began Providence in 2013.
You will find Jon teaching riding lessons to little ones, riding his horse Rocket, or driving his Kabota (tractor). Being a life time surfer he has learned to love the ranch life. Jon is a retired fire captain and has been a pastor for more then 10 years.

Stacy brought her love of horses home and introduced them to Jon and the two went from surf to turf. growing up in Nebraska and learning to ride from childhood.
Stacy loves all her animals; dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, pigs and her big tortious. She is the horse whisperer and the equine therapist on the ranch life. Stacy is also a retired therapist but still takes the occasional client for marriage and family counseling.
Stacy serves as the Executive Director at Providence Recovery and Providence Heart Ranch.
EVAN
Barn Manager & Lead Trainer
Evan is our western horse trainer and riding instructor. He has a passion for horses and is amazing with all of our lesson students. Evan is the one to comfort and encourage our first-time and timid riders to feels safe and confident in the saddle.
ANGELA
Asst. Manager and Lead Trainer
Angela has been riding since she was a child. Her passion for teaching and training riders shows. She is great with our littles and her smile and positive attitude lights up the arena.

CLUB RIDERS
Group Riding Lesson for Children
Our "Club Riders" is where children, 3 yrs old and up, ride horses with their peers while receiving hands-on riding instruction and training with several trainers at the same time.
Our Club Riders ride 1 to 2 times a week for a discounted monthly price.

HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS
Lessons for all ages
You're never too young and never too old to experience the majesty of horseback riding. My family would love to share our love of horses with you and your family. Bring the kids, come ride as a family, or come learn for yourself. You will never forget the day you threw your leg over a saddle for the first time or the thousandth time. Our patient and experienced trainers will bring your dreams to life. Just discovered Providence Heart Ranch about one month ago. Jon, Stacy and their staff are awesome! I take my son Christopher for equine therapy and he loves to be led on Spirit. Evan is so patient with Christopher in spite of his autistic behavior, and takes the time to show Christopher how to brush Spirit and do other horse things! The ranch and horses are beautifully taken care of. We are going to do our best to make this a weekly thing!
This was my first time riding a horse and I must admit I was a little scared when my husband told me he was taking me horseback riding, but the experience was actually very pleasant thanks to the horses Spirit (left), Sweety(right) and our riding instructor's Jon and Evan. They honestly make you feel safe and welcomed. I would recommend this place
Perfect place to escape the crazy city. Such beautiful 360 degree views of the mountains. It's hard to imagine this place is so close to home. Such a unique experience for the kids, they always leave feeling happy and at peace with themselves and and the horses and other animals on the ranch. I highly recommend coming here for an amazing learning and growing experience that your children will never forget!
Providence Heart Ranch was a wonderful experience for my grandson, as this was his first introduction to horses. Everyone was so patient and kind. The best part is that it is Christian based and they  teach them love and kindness. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone wishing to  Widen your child's interest in horses and animal. We look forward to returning to the next camp they have.
The property is spacious and so clean. The first thing I noticed was how well taken care of the animals were. I enjoyed my first lesson on a horse and the staff was so patient, knowledgeable, and friendly!
This is an amazing place for your child to learn to ride. It’s faith based and family oriented. The staff and owners are welcoming and genuine people. If you know anyone struggling they can help they offer a variety of faith based equestrian activities. I wouldn’t think of taking my children anywhere else.
My daughter has been coming here for about 2 months and she's loving it. She is comfortable with the horses now and is taught very well. They make you feel welcomed.
Providence Heart Ranch!! Two thumbs up and five stars all the way. I have 2 boys ages 6 and 8 and they have made tremendous strides since attending PHR!! I started noticing some behaviors negative behaviors in my oldest and I know the pandemic is not helping. So I wanted to give him an incentive and something to look forward to. Taking care of the horses and learning how to safely ride a horse has done just that. I am so thankful for PHR. The horses are well taken care of and the staff are extremely nice. My boys are happy and so am I!
I can’t tell you how much PHR has benefitted my daughter. When she’s on her horse she’s a different kid. She’s confident, unafraid, and so happy when she’s riding and always looking forward to her next lesson. The staff at PHR doesn’t just let her do what she wants, they push her to be better. Couldn’t ask for more.
We had a fantastic experience at Providence Heart Ranch celebrating our daughter’s 6th birthday!!! Evan and Bridget were phenomenal - made us all feel so comfortable around the horses in their capable hands. Enough that we even let out 2 year old sit on the horse for a bit. They truly made it special for our daughter’s birthday and that meant the world to us. You can tell you are in the company of people who love kids and love teaching them how to care for the beautiful horses. They went above and beyond to make it a special day and we can’t recommend them enough!
This place is extraordinary in so many ways. They are a faith based equestrian center. They offer a children’s equestrian bible camp and riding lessons. My daughters have participated in the camp and are currently taking riding lessons. The owners and their employees are generous and patient. I’d recommend Provide ce to any one looking to work with horses.
